Congratulations, Father Chris O'Connor on your ordination to the preisthood.

Beginning June 2nd, Jane Grein will be starting her new position as Christ Church Secretary. Please feel free to stop by and introduce yourself to Jane, but keep in mind the first two weeks or so will probably be hectic. Soon, we will post regular office hours for when Christ Church is open. Congratulations, Jane.

June 13th and 14th....Albion Strawberry Festival
Stop by and visit our table in front of the church! It's a great place to view the parade. The church doors will be open for you to explore inside our church, and we can answer any questions you may have.

Christ Church, in cooperation with the Genesee Deanery, will be collecting shoes in any condition. They must be a matching pair, and can be shoes, sneakers, flip flops, sandals and yes even slippers! They are then refurbished and sent to the disadvantaged among us, both in the USA and abroad. Please help out with this worthy cause.

On Thursday, June 12th, at 7:00 PM members of Christ Church will be attending the discernment group that includes ourselves, St. James, Batavia and St. John's, Medina. This months meeting is at St. James Church in Batavia. This group is trying to brainstorm new ideas on how we can make our congregations more vibrant, visible in the community and in cooperation with each other to proclaim God's word as a unified group of churches. We have made a commitment to pray about the following matters:

Gracious and loving God;

Show us what new life might look like.
Help us to accept and be conscious of our fears and not be overcome by them.
Help us to see how we are blessed already, and how we can build on those blessings.
Open peoples' minds to accept new ideas and give us the courage to act on them.
Heal us of our blinded sight.
Show us our need(s) for healing and reconciliation.

If you would like to join us or want more information, please see Kevin Doherty or Mark Oblick. Please help us by praying for the items listed above daily.

If you are looking for a warm, friendly group of small town people who truly care about one another, this is the place for you! We are a committed group of individuals that try to live out our Baptismal Vows; one being that we respect the dignity of all human beings. At Christ Church we uphold the concept that The Holy Communion is the Lord's Table, not ours, and "All Are Welcome!"

We really mean it when we say "Whoever you are, wherever you find yourself on the journey of faith, you are welcome here, to share in the blessings of God given so freely"

We're Glad You're Here!!

ALBION – For 20 years Christ Church has been home to the Community Kitchen, providing hot meals on Fridays to local residents.

R.J. Bannan has been a regular at the site for more than a decade. He praised the volunteers who cook and serve the meals every week.

“It’s excellent food and the people are friendly,” Bannan said Friday evening. He sat down and ate the chicken casserole dinner, and went back for two desserts of cherry crisp.
